The NFL is in a pickle because some of their black members do not stand for the national anthem. That playing the national anthem with players out appears to be a recent innovation, it has quickly become a tradition that defines the white people soul.
Trump is being criticized for not lowering the flag to half mast on the Monday after the death of John McCain on Saturday.
White power is so important to white people because it allows them to follow the rules when they want, and use those rules to attack non-white people when they wish. For instance, brown mothers asking for asylum or entry into the US may be committing a misdemeanor, and the fact that they have violated the law means that their infants are put in cages. Mothers who are driving recklessly in the US are certainly committed a misdemeanor, and there is probably cause that any infants in their car are not their, after all, what mother would put a child in danger by driving recklessly, but their babies are not put in cages.
According to the non binding flag rules enacted in the before time flags are to lowered to half mast in certain circumstances on the day after the event. Even though it traditional to keep flags lowered for longer, it is really only the day after.
These same rules state that a flag should always fall freely. If you note in the picture of the linked article, the flag is not falling freely but is carried disrespectfully as happens in almost every game. And it is the players who do not stand who are disrespecting the flag.
White people do what they want, and then use those same rules to oppress non-white people.
