This, by the way, are the signs that are at the entrance of the gun show.
So, I suppose, if we believe the NRA, all these good guys are going to be gunned down because the only people with a loaded gun are going to be bad guys. I suppose they might not be cowards because they are sacrificing themselves to the slaughter. I mean how is one cop going to stop a couple guys with AR-15s, and how are the people enclosed int eh hall, with a only a few way out, going to defend themselves if there is gunman on each exit?
On the other hand, what is it with camera and printed material ban? The gun nuts always say that that they believe in the constitution, but are willing to trample on the constitutional rights of those who want to take pictures? What is it, are they such snowflakes that they are going to get their fee-fees hurt it someone posts an unflattering video on facebook? Are these people so fragile that they are afraid of public ridicule? I mean, I think they are cowards. I have always known that people own guns mostly because the real world scares them, but know, evidently, they are even afraid of what someone might say about them on facebook.
Pitiful.
And, yes, I am aware that this is a private conference and they have a right to define the rules. I agree that if they wanted to, and everyone consented, they could have sell slaves and beat women.
However, this is an event open to the public, just like so many establishments in Texas, where this gun nut event took place today. And in Texas, in most cases, I can’t ban someone from carrying a licensed firearm in my store. I am required to allow people the opportunity to murder my customers in my public space. So why can they deny the opportunity for someone to take pictures in theirs?
Because they are cowards, that is why.
