Yes, Donald Trump has sent out an email stating that over the Labor Day weekend he will ‘personally write my own check $1 million dollars’ to his own campaign for president.
Yes, he is writing a check to himself, to pay himself rent, catering, and flying in his own jet.
Not really. He is fact writing the check to pay for television advertisements to counter the ‘Crooked Hillary’ attack ads. Of course if Trump would stop staying stupid stuff like ‘Crooked Hillary’ she would not have such an easy time making ads that make Trump such an easy Target.
Of course, he really isn’t saying he is going to write a check for $1 million. He is actually begging for money to fund his own TV advertisements, and, if you give him $1 million then he will write himself his own check matching what you given him. And you only have until August 31 to do so.
Of course history tells us that he may never write this check, so I hope all the reporters will be in his office on Thursday to see if he has written a check, and then watching ad spending to see if $2 million dollars of ads were bought. I suspect that money will be spent on ads, but $1 million will be spent on consulting paid to Trump affiliated company.
